I have been using Cassa Systemic WHS Soil Enhancer Plus 9 (S) as part of our soil and plant health management program, applied through drip irrigation and as a foliar spray.

After seven days, growth on young vines went from 15cm per week to 35–40cm in seven days. I applied it to a second ten-week-old patch of vines and got exactly the same result — a 300% increase in growth across the young vines.

Next I applied it to four-year-old vines that had exhibited some growth. Remarkably, the fruit responded too: 5mm larger berry size and more colour change in the fruit.

To have results like this in both old and young vines was remarkable. I value the focus by Cassa BioTec on developing biological and microbial-based solutions designed to support plant and soil systems and reduce reliance on conventional chemical inputs. Based on our experience, it is a useful addition to a holistic horticultural management program.

I own and manage table grape properties in Merbein, Victoria. During the 2025–26 season we established a new planting of Menindee Seedless vines and observed reduced vigour and uneven growth across parts of the planting.

On the recommendation of our agronomist, we included a Cassa AgriTec biological formulation containing multiple beneficial microorganisms, applied via fertigation and foliar application. An on-farm observation program was established with selected rows left untreated for comparison.

Following application, the treated vines displayed improved vigour and more consistent growth patterns compared with untreated rows. These differences were visually apparent in the vineyard and were also reflected in the comparative measurements recorded during the season — treated vines were actively growing, producing new shoots, and vine development progressed to the top wire.

Based on these observations, I have elected to include this biological input as part of my ongoing vineyard management program, commencing with a post-harvest fertigation application and further applications ahead of flowering next season.

Through the Greenmate Program we have conducted multi-year evaluations incorporating Cassa BioTec stimulant products across several commercial potato farms in Tasmania supplying the McCain network. A full program was implemented across six selected farms, comparing treated blocks with untreated control blocks.

Preliminary results from one farm showed the control block at 62 tonnes per hectare and the treated block at 70 tonnes per hectare. Across sites at Wynyard, Forrest and near Barnbougle, treated blocks reportedly produced approximately 2–8 tonnes per hectare higher yield than untreated controls, with growers also reporting improved tuber quality — better storage performance and fewer surface blemishes.

We have observed beneficial agronomic trends relating to soil health and plant resilience across a range of challenges, including pink rot, potato scab, Colorado potato beetle, black leg, Fusarium wilt and cyst nematode, associated with the beneficial microbes in the program.

One additional observation: steers grazed on treated paddocks following the potato crop showed stronger condition gains — approximately 1.95 kg/day against 1.36 kg/day on control paddocks — suggesting improvements in soil and pasture condition worth further investigation.
